Fox Clean Water Pipe Project
Since 1996, WBS has been the lead designer of propagated wetland and riparian sod for numerous project in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Starting with the Angora Creek Restoration project, in 1996, each subsequent project had its own objective(s), unique site characteristics, and specialized production of site specific materials to meet the objective (s). Projects have been as diverse as culvert outlets to storm drain systems, to riparian bank stabilization, and most recently in collaboration with Zeigler Civil Enginerring replacement of a hard armor of riprap at a culvert outlet in Kings Beach Lake Tahoe with a propagated, engineering material that withstood record-breaking fall storms. WBS continues to examine suitability of more green options, reducing the carbon footprint on restoration projects.
