NDOT 3822 I-580 Patriot Blvd. and Neil Rd.

As a subconsultant to Stantec, WBS provided extensive baseline surveys in the fall of 2018 to identify and quantify noxious weed infestations and native sod to be protected for this Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) project. Given the persistence of patches of saltgrass and creeping wildrye it was evident that these stands are remnant wetlands of pre- Truckee Meadows development. WBS provided revegetation specifications as part of the Special Provisions. We also surveyed the previously completed Neil Road interchange project (Meadowood Mall) to determine species success, noxious weed infestations, and areas requiring re-treatment. Construction was completed in 2021.
